Sacred Geometry~ Mystic Kiss Track 1 Won an award from Billboard
earBuzz Review: Fontain's M.U.S.E.'s latest CD, "Mystic Kiss", is 13-tune collection of new and previously released tunes. All sound fresh with many of the tracks re-worked and updated. The opening track, "Sacred Geometry", includes an invigorating guitar part that chugs with percussive timbre - deep, hollow, and funky. Track 3, "Witch Fire", is an ambient danceable vocal mystery. Guitar-sounding keyboard arpeggiates over thin and bright cymbals and drums as a deep chamber of vocals sits ontop with a melody reminiscent of Blondie's, "Call Me". Track 6, "Le Miroir", showcases the vibrant and musical arrangement talent of leader, Fontain Riddle. The choices here are subtle and unique. Track 11, "Pearl Melody", is a welcome vocal change as the ethnic lines are delivered without a very detectable reverb. The result showcases Fontain's penetrating soprano/alto. The CD is a greatest-hits of sorts and a great place for new fans to start their experience with Fontain.
